Emma Knowlton

Emma graduated summa cum laude with her BFA in Dance from The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO). During her final semester, she was recognized as an outstanding senior of the conservatory. Along with her BFA, she has minors in Fine Arts Entrepreneurship and Management. Emma has performed multiple works by SEMO faculty members Alyssa Alger, Philip Edgecombe, and Hilary Peterson. Additionally, she has worked with choreographers Kristopher Estes-Brown, Autumn Eckman, Joshua Blake Carter, Emily Schoen, and Brandon Coleman. Emma’s choreographic works have been performed frequently in SEMO’s mainstage and second stage dance productions. Her work, The Conflict of Convergence was performed at the American College Dance Association's Central Conference. Along with a strong performance and choreographic career, Emma served as president of University Dancers United, SEMO’s student dance organization.
